The Basic Crime Prevention Academy will be held August 18-22 at DPSST in Salem. See the attached forms for registration, course objectives, dress code, food, and lodging information. Eligible participants may receive DPSST credit. All participants will be ICPS certified after successful completion of the academy.
CPAO General Board Meeting will be held July 29th 1-2 pm, in Salem at DPSST, 4190 Aumsville Hwy. All current and interested members are welcome. New commmittees are forming and we need you! As an added bonus, from 2-3 pm we will be hosting a special presentation by U.S. Secret Service, Special Agent Michael Luker who will be discussing Counterfeit Bills. Join us!
SAVE THE DATE! Planning is underway by The CPAO Conference Committee for the 2009 CPAO Crime Prevention Conference. Next year's conference will be held at the Hallmark Resort in Newport, OR, April 8-10, 2009. The committee is currently brainstorming ideas for an overall conference theme and trends in crime prevention.
